1. In accordance with provisions of
Condition 24 of Special Conditions of Contract (Mobilisation Advance against
non-revocable Bank Guarantee) of the above mentioned contract,

shall deposit with The Director General Married Accommodation Project, New
Delhi, a Bank Guarantee to guarantee his proper and faithful performance under

of bank), as instructed by the contractor agree unconditionally and irrevocably
to guarantee as primary obligatory and not as Surety merely the payment to The
DIRECTOR GENERAL MARRIED ACCOMMODATION PROJECT, Chandigarh on his first demand
without whatsoever right of objection on our part and without his first claim
to the contractor, in the amount not exceeding. Rs. _________________________

3. We further agree that no change or
addition to or other modification of the terms of contract or of works to be
performed thereunder or of any of the contract document which may be made
between The Director General Married Accommodation Project, Chandigarh and the
Contractor shall in any way release us from any liability under this guarantee
and we hereby waive notice of such change, addition or modification.
4. Our main / branch office located at
_____________ Chandigarh undertake to confirm genuineness of the guarantee and
that invoked amount, if any, under this guarantee will be paid within 24 hrs of
receipt of demand letter from DG (MAP) without referring the matter to the
original issuing Bank.
5. The guarantee shall remain valid and in
full effect from the date of the advance payment under the contract until The
Director General Married Accommodation Project, Chandigarh receives full
payment of the same amount from the Contractor.
