Dear Sirs,

We are enclosing herewith Survey Report received by us for transit damages due to negligence on your part for transportation of our material from factory to M/s Amar Corporation, Guwahati vide our Invoice No.3838, your consignment Note No.60604 dtd.30.09.13.

This is our clear cut policy that we allow only one transshipment. You have transshipped the material twice first at Icchapuram and second at Kolkata. It is matter of surprise that material was delivered to the party via Tata 407 which is 3MT to 4 MT capacity vehicle. It indicates that you have transshipped the material in between Kolkata and Guwahati also.

If you will go through the survey report, you will find that surveyor has assessed 40% to 60% of total value as loss value. Balance amount will be deducted by the party.

In this regard, kindly note that we shall deduct the amount from your bill. This is for your information and records.
