Dear Sir,

Sub : Revision of rent as per S.A.S. (Self assessment scheme)

          for the block period 2013-14 to 2015-16.

With reference to the above subject and your letter dated 20-04-13 whereby you have requested us to increase the rent in veiw of increase in property taxes.  As per the discussion we had agreed to increase the rent from Rs.8000/- to Rs.12000/- per month w.e.f July 2013 for a period of 3 years.  This will be inforce upto 31.03.2016 i.e. for a period of 3 years. At the time of discussions with you, we have agreed to the increased rent from 01.07.2013 and not from 01.04.2013. As agreed between us we are paying enhanced rent of Rs.12000/- per month from 01.07.2013.

In view of good and cordial relation we have, your verbal request for further increase of rent before the completion of period of 3 years appears not justified and would request you not to press upon for the same.

Further you will appreciate that we have accepted the increase of the rent last year which was 50% and the same was given for 3 years as mentioned in your letter dtd.20.04.13 and therefore, your asking for another increase within a span of 1 year is really appears to be unreasonable.

In view of the above, we would request you to please continue with the existing rent of Rs.12000/- upto the period of 31.03.16. However, we are ready to discuss about increase in rent effective from 01.04.16.
