Dear Sirs,

Sub :  Quotation for transportation of Coal

You are requested to quote your most competitive rates for transportation of coal from Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd., Brajrajnagar to our factory situated at Khapoli (Mumbai). Scope of work are as follows :

1)      Item : Coal - to be lifted from Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd., Brajrajnagar

2)      Quantity : Approx. 150000 MT per month

3)      You have to lift the above mentioned quantity within 26 working days positively.

4)      Period of contract shall be April 2014 and May 2014

5)      Loading expenses at Brajrajnagar shall be to your account and unloading expenses at our factory shall be to our account.

6)      You shall quote transportation charges and expenses towards liaison work at Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. separately. Rate should be quoted in Rs. per MT for both the jobs.

7)      Your quoted rate for transportation shall be firm during the contract period except for any increase in diesel price beyond 10%, we shall increase transportation charges as per formula given below. The same formula shall be applicable for decrease in diesel prices beyond 10% of the existing price :

1/3 rd of the percentage increase/decrease in the diesel price shall be increased/decreased from the quoted transportation rate.

You are requested to mention prevailing diesel price at Brajrajnagar in your quotation. This is the most important condition of this enquiry. Quotation without mention of the existing diesel price shall not be entertained.

8)      Payment term shall be 25 days from submission of bills against each completed D.O.

9)      We shall deduct TDS as per Income Tax Rule.

You are requested to send your representative along with your quotation in a sealed envelope on 30.03.2014 at our Head Office at "NIRMAL BUILDING", 24^th Floor, Nariman Point, Mumbai – 458 454 at 11:00 AM.
