Sub: Deposit of Rs.50 lakhs with Orissa High Court and filing modification petition on Hon’ble Court’s Order dated 22.02.2025.

 

This refers to the telecom we had with you on 11^th and 12^th instant on the above matter.

 

Enclosed please find a Bank Draft No.220123 dated 13.03.2025 for Rs.50,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Lakhs only) in favour of Registrar (Judicial), Orissa High Court, drawn on HDFC Bank, Payable at Cuttack. Please arrange to deposit the amount with the High Court in terms of hon’ble Court’s Order dated 22.02.2025 and confirm deposit to us.

 

You are also requested to file our petition positively by 16.03.25 seeking clarifications on High Court’s Order dated 22.02.25 regarding issues already discussed with you by our Mr. Sunil Jain. However, our petition must clearly seek a confirmation from the Govt. of Orissa that 80% of eligible VRS dues shall be paid by Govt. as provided in clause 5.4 of SPA. Our petition should also seek clarification as to whether the news paper advertisement regarding VRS, etc., can be deferred till receipt of confirmation from the Govt. regarding payment of 80% of VRS amount.
