We appreciate your
interest and willingness shown in developing GHG emission reduction project
based on forestry. As desired we have made a detailed study of Bamboo plantation
under farm forestry scheme. We would be more than happy to get associated with the
project that will help to reduce global warming, the greatest threat to
humankind at present times.
Currently carbon
sequestration projects (Forestry) are not considered under CDM projects but
many countries are willing to bring forestry under CDM umbrella. We are sure
forestry is likely to be recognized as CDM projects shortly. The subject being
very new we are also in the process of collecting more and more information on
CDM and wish to make a presentation shortly on CDM activities, time frame and
tentative cost involved for your information. We would let you know the date
once we are ready with the presentation.
