Dear Sir,

Pursuant to the provisions of Rule 12(7) of the CST Registration & Turnover Rules, 1957 (‘The CST Rules’) and the proviso to Rule 12(1) of the CST Rules we are required to substantiate the concessional inter-state sales made to you each quarter; by furnishing a declaration in Form-C to our charge within three months after the end of such quarter. Failure to do so may result in disallowance of the benefit of concessional sales and may devolve an additional tax liability upon us including interest and penal consequences thereof.

The concessional sates made by us during the quarter ended …………… is attached herewith and marked as Exhibit A. Therefore, you are requested to furnish the declaration form in respect of concessional inter-state sales made during the said period, by ………... We shall be constrained to pass on the additional tax liability (inclusive of interest and penalty) upon you in the event; we do not receive the Form-C by the said date.
