Sub:  Rationalisation of Product Names/Grades

At present, we have various names for our products and for the same quality of products there are different names also.  This creates confusion.  It has, therefore, been decided to rationalize the product names/nomenclature as detailed below.  Further, there is a demand for Galvanized HR Coils (Hot Rolled) & CR Coils (Cold Rolled), which clients buy from us for making Galvanized products at their end.  It has been decided that we will be introducing a new grade named as Galvanized Grade.  A chart below indicates the item names as per the present system as well as per the new system.  After rationalization, many of these items will be deleted and only some of them shall remain as indicated in the chart below:

a)     Galvanized HR & CR Coils is to be sold at 20% premium over Price List.
b)     Normal shall be sold as per price list
c)     Ferro Based Coils shall sold at 5% discount over price list
d)     Cupper Based Coils shall be sold at 10% discount over price list

It is to be noted that Cupper Based Coils include all the materials not included in (a), (b) and (c) above as well as Scrap materials, cut size or off-spec materials.

The above revised nomenclature and gradation system shall come into effect from 1st May, 2013
