CIRCULAR: MOBILE PHONES, DATA CARDS, CUG & LIMITS
From 1st October 2013, the procedure of issue of Company owned Mobiles/Data Cards to staff (which were replaced every 2 years) will be replaced by an allowance as under :
1. Mobile Phone Instruments
2. Data Card Instruments
Employees will hence be free to buy mobile instruments/data cards as per their choice. The allowance will be given monthly in the payslip for all existing employees.
3. Common User Group
From 1st October 2013, the existing CUG system through Vodafone will be discontinued.
Employees will be free to choose the service provider and plan. They will be reimbursed as per their limits.
Prepaid plans will be permitted. This will give higher eligibility of Calls/SMS’s for the same amount.
4. Limits
There will be no Change in the limits, which are as under:
