Dear All,
I would like to convey my heartiest congratulations to all of you for
completing another successful financial year. It was yet another year with
several challenges thrown our way such as breakdown of all banburys, quality
issues, water constrains, power fluctuations, office space issue, internet
breakdowns to name a few of the hassles that came our way. The one thing
that kept us rolling, despite all of the challenges is your dedication. It
truly is Stabnet’s greatest asset. What sets us apart and makes it possible for
us, as a team to stand strong and endure the storm is the tenacity and passion
of the team.
Through the four years of operations since reopening, the hurdles that
came our way have made us stronger, wiser, more experienced and has built a
rock solid foundation for our future endeavours. At the onset of the new year
we have taken on some big steps which I would like to discuss with all of you.
We have taken on board Mr Amit Singh. By now, I think most of you have had a
chance to interact with him personally. Let me take this opportunity to
formally introduce him to all of you as the CEO of Stabnet Pvt Limited. His
wide experiences and skills in turning around companies will give us a great
opportunity to achieve the dreams we harbour for Stanet. Working with him will
give us an opportunity to be mentored by a highly intelligent, experienced and
accomplished individual. Please extend your cooperation and support to him.
Secondly, we have taken up major restructuring for smooth operations of the
company. We have leased out our operations to a company called Starnet Commercials
Pvt Ltd. All transactions will henceforth happen from that company. However,
please be rest assured that this doesn’t affect anyone individually. All of you
are still hired by Stabnet Pvt Limited. All of your dues with Stabnet, remain
intact with Stabnet. If anyone has any questions regarding this, Mr Amit Singh will
address it. Thirdly, we have, with great efforts and resources, managed to
truly incorporate SAP into our system. With the support of auditors, experts
and tremendous effort of the team- both at HO and Factory, we have managed to
100% transfer to SAP. We will now be making all reports from SAP directly and
stop using EXCEL altogether. Not only will this help in better accounting, but
will go a long long way in better coordination between HO and factory.
I would like to share with all of you our vision for the new financial
year. This year, we plan on enhancing our capacity to 40 tonnes. We will be
increasing our markets from just Africa to other parts of the world. For
the first time ever, we will be focusing a lot on the Indian markets.
Apart from capacity and markets, we are also looking at enhancing our SKUS- we
are going to start with truck tyres this year. It’s the dedication with which
you all work, that makes it possible for us to dream so high.
We have started the year on a slightly rocky note. Things are hard
right now. We completely understand that not having proper office space
is causing a lot of difficulty in the factory. We are constantly pushing to
ensure that the interiors work is fast tracked. I assure you, you will all have
comfortable office space at the earliest. We are taking drastic measures
to improve working environment at the factory. We will resolve internet
connection issues latest by June for sure. We are in conversation with a lot of
people to discover solution for this issue. We are once again put to test with
the slow-down in sales. I completely understand that it is causing a lot of
trouble to all of you on a personal level. We have overcome this in the past,
we will overcome this issue again. Please have faith in the management, in the
company and above all, on our individual capabilities. We will, together as a
team, overcome this challenge. We are as strong as our weakest link. Hence, at
this time, I would appeal to all of you to be patient and continue to work with
passion and devotion as you all always have. We will overcome all the
challenges.
Thank you to each one of you for putting in great work. It is the
efforts of each of one of you which has made it possible for us to come this
far. We still have a long way to go, but we are on the right track.
